Welcome to Wellness Wednesday!!

Every Wednesday we will explore what it takes to live a healthy life.  We will look at the Benefits of Exercise, the science behind proper nutrition and the best workout routines and exercises that will help your achieve your goals.

Each week will have a separate theme:

Why Exercise?
We dive into the benefits proper exercise has on the body.  Discovering the wonders exercise can do for both your physical and mental health. Its FREE medicine! Exercise is a beautiful thing and our bodies are designed for it. Throughout the centuries technology has made everything so much more accessible for us. For example, who wants to drive to Kroger shop then cook when we can just drive through and eat right away? According to the CDC more than one third of Americans are obese! And with obesity comes chronic diseases. All of which could have been prevented through exercise and eating right.

Food is Fuel
“You are what you eat.”  Food can either help or hurt you. You get to make that decision every day. I want to share my knowledge of nutrition with you and how diet can affect everything from the way you act to your performance in a game. Diets don’t work, lifestyle changes do. I want to teach you how to eat right and make it a lifestyle. Trust me when I say this, once you stop eating junk you WILL not want it anymore. Isn’t that great???

Get Moving
Workouts that are out of the box, fun, exciting and new!  Many of you may have heard about these but may have been too embarrassed to try them out.  I want to challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and fall in love with exercise in a whole new way. This is where you’ll find Leslie’s Lessons: my tips, tricks and fun facts about exercises.

 Mystery Box
You never know what I may decide to talk about, motivational stories, news that comes out about some crazy new diet fad, or common misconceptions about health.  Whatever it may be I want to give you my opinion and be a great resource for you to come to.

Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Leslie Faust
